Because I absolutely love this red and black Sith. He is by far, one of the coolest villains in the Star Wars cannon, and I was genuinely pissed when he got cut in half, and even more pissed when he got his ass kicked by Sideous. Yes, I get it, it was supposed to happen because Sideous is stronger, but still... Maul's my fave sith. XD

Also, these two do fight a few times in the comic I'm making. So Nyeh!

As to why he has a hand off his saber, he's trying to force tear at her wings.

Star Wars and Darth Maul belong to Disney, unfortunately.
